The Louvin Brothers - Tragic Songs of Life 1956
The title of this album doesn't suggest that it'll be a barrel of laughs. I'll have to say out of the 3 albums so far, this has been my least favourite.
Its gospel/country sound is pleasant to listen to, but admittedly after a while it does get slightly tedious. Unlike, the previous Elvis, each song is very similar. Which lead me to lose interest half way through. I really did give this album a try, but I don't think I'd listen to it again. I cam hear elements of their work in more modern country folk music, which I do fins interesting in seeing the development of the genre.
